The pretty Elise, designed by Julian Thompson (now with Jaguar Cars), was named after Artioli’s granddaughter. It was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1994. Several different versions of the car have appeared, including the Exige. However, in “Mark Two” form, the Elise continues in production.
