Exterior: Excellent. The new front end gives the compact SUV a much more truck-like appearance.
Interior: Good. Comfortable and utilitarian. For those green at heart, one option includes seats made from recycled materials.
Safety: Excellent. Standard front and side curtain airbags, as well as standard anti lock brakes, electronic stability control with rollover stability control.
Performance: Good. Ride and handling have improved. Significant sound proofing and aerodynamic changes have cut internal noise by more than 12 percent.
